How To Install mono-apache-server on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install mono-apache-server on Kali Linux.
What is mono-apache-server
mono-apache-server is:
mono-apache-server contains the backend for mod_mono. It lets you run ASP.NET web applications via Apache. mod_mono will call mono-apache-server to parse and compile the aspx code.
This package pulls in the default version of the Apache backend.
There are three methods to install mono-apache-server on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mono-apache-server Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install mono-apache-server using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mono-apache-serverInstall mono-apache-server Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install mono-apache-server using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the mono-apache-server package we can use the following command:

To remove mono-apache-server configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
