How To Install mon-client on Debian 12

on Debian 12.
What is mon-client
mon-client is:
These are the Perl5 module for interfacing with the Mon system monitoring package. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the mon 1.2.x server. Currently only the client interface is implemented, but more things like special logging routines and persistent monitors are being considered.

There are three methods to install mon-client
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mon-client Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mon-client
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mon-client

After updating apt database, We can install mon-client

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install mon-client

How To Uninstall mon-client on Debian 12
To uninstall only the mon-client
package we can use the following command:
