What is mod_ssl
The mod_ssl module provides strong cryptography for the Apache Web server via the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install mod_ssl
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mod_ssl.

Update yum database with yum
