How To Install mgba-qt on Kali Linux

What is mgba-qt
mgba-qt is:
mGBA is a new emulator for running Game Boy Advance games. It aims to be faster and more accurate than many existing Game Boy Advance emulators, as well as adding features that other emulators lack.
This package provides the Qt GUI frontend for mGBA.
Game Boy Advance is a registered trademark of Nintendo of America Inc. mGBA is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the companies mentioned.
There are three methods to install mgba-qt on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mgba-qt Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install mgba-qt using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mgba-qtInstall mgba-qt Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install mgba-qt using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install mgba-qtInstall mgba-qt Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install mgba-qt using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mgba-qtHow To Uninstall mgba-qt on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the mgba-qt package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mgba-qtUninstall mgba-qt And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mgba-qt and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mgba-qtRemove mgba-qt Configurations and Data
To remove mgba-qt configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mgba-qtRemove mgba-qt configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove mgba-qt configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge mgba-qtDependencies
