on CentOS 7.
What is mg
mg is a tiny, mostly public-domain Emacs-like editor included in the base OpenBSD system. It is compatible with Emacs because there shouldn’t be any reason to learn more editor types than Emacs or vi.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install mg
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mg.

Update yum database with yum
