How To Install memo on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install memo on Kali Linux.
What is memo
memo is:
Memo is a note-taking and to-do software that runs on command line. With Memo, it’s possible to concentrate on the tasks in your to-do list instead of spending time managing those tasks. After a while taking notes and keeping a to-do list is part of your daily life instead of some nasty thing you must remember to do.
There are three methods to install memo on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install memo Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install memo using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install memoInstall memo Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install memo using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install memoInstall memo Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install memo using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install memoHow To Uninstall memo on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the memo package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove memoUninstall memo And Its Dependencies
To uninstall memo and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove memoRemove memo Configurations and Data
To remove memo configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge memoRemove memo configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove memo configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge memoDependencies
