How To Install mediawiki on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install mediawiki on Kali Linux.
What is mediawiki
mediawiki is:
MediaWiki is a wiki engine (a program for creating a collaboratively edited website). It is designed to handle heavy websites containing library-like document collections, and supports user uploads of images/sounds, multilingual content, TOC autogeneration, ISBN links, etc.
Moreover, it keeps track of changes, so users can receive notifications, view diffs and revert edits. This system has many other features and can easily be extended.
There are three methods to install mediawiki on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mediawiki Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install mediawiki using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the mediawiki package we can use the following command:

To uninstall mediawiki and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mediawikiRemove mediawiki Configurations and Data
To remove mediawiki configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mediawikiRemove mediawiki configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove mediawiki configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
