How To Install mdm on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is mdm
mdm is:
The Middleman System (mdm) is a set of utilities that help you parallelize your shell scripts. Simply label the commands to run in parallel, and the System automatically exploits every parallelization opportunity that arises at runtime. You can also specify dependency between commands so that they run in an appropriate order.
Comes with an ncurses-based monitoring console. Compatible with xargs, find, make, any shell, together, in a script or interactively.
There are three methods to install mdm
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mdm Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mdm
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mdm
Install mdm Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install mdm
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install mdm
Install mdm Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install mdm
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mdm
How To Uninstall mdm on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the mdm
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mdm
Uninstall mdm And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mdm
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mdm
Remove mdm Configurations and Data
To remove mdm
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mdm
Remove mdm configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove mdm
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge mdm
