How To Install mdk-doc on Kali Linux

on Kali Linux.
What is mdk-doc
mdk-doc is:
MDK stands for MIX Development Kit, and provides tools for developing and executing, in a MIX virtual machine, MIXAL programs.
The MIX is Donald Knuth’s mythical computer, described in the first volume of The Art of Computer Programming, which is programmed using MIXAL, the MIX assembly language.
This package contains the documentation for the utilities included in the mdk package.
There are three methods to install mdk-doc
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mdk-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mdk-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mdk-doc
Install mdk-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install mdk-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install mdk-doc
Install mdk-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install mdk-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mdk-doc
How To Uninstall mdk-doc on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the mdk-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mdk-doc
Uninstall mdk-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mdk-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mdk-doc
Remove mdk-doc Configurations and Data
To remove mdk-doc
configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mdk-doc
