What is maven-plugin-plugin
The Plugin Plugin is used to create a Maven plugin descriptor for any Mojo’s found in the source tree, to include in the JAR. It is also used to generate Xdoc files for the Mojos as well as for updating the plugin registry, the artifact metadata and a generic help goal.

Install maven-plugin-plugin on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install maven-plugin-plugin using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install maven-plugin-plugin
Install maven-plugin-plugin on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install maven-plugin-plugin using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install maven-plugin-plugin
How To Uninstall maven-plugin-plugin on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the maven-plugin-plugin package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove maven-plugin-plugin
