Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install matio
on CentOS 7.
What is matio
matio is an open-source library for reading/writing Matlab MAT files. This library is designed for use by programs/libraries that do not have access or do not want to rely on Matlab’s libmat shared library.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install matio
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install matio.
Install matio on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum

After updating yum database, We can install matio
