How To Install mantis-xray on Debian 12

What is mantis-xray
mantis-xray is:
Spectromicroscopy combines spectral data with microscopy, where typical datasets consist of a stack of microscopic images taken across an energy range. Due to the data complexity, manual analysis can be time consuming and inefficient, whereas multivariate analysis tools not only reduce the time needed but also can uncover hidden trends in the data.
Mantis is Multivariate ANalysis Tool for Spectromicroscopy developed in Python by 2nd Look Consulting. It uses principal component analysis and cluster analysis to classify pixels according to spectral similarity.
There are three methods to install mantis-xray
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install mantis-xray Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install mantis-xray
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install mantis-xray
Install mantis-xray Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install mantis-xray
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install mantis-xray
Install mantis-xray Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install mantis-xray
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mantis-xray
How To Uninstall mantis-xray on Debian 12
To uninstall only the mantis-xray

Uninstall mantis-xray And Its Dependencies
