How To Install magnum-conductor on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install magnum-conductor on Kali Linux.
What is magnum-conductor
magnum-conductor is:
Magnum is an OpenStack project which offers container orchestration engines for deploying and managing containers as first class resources in OpenStack. It features:
- Abstractions for bays, containers, nodes, pods, replication controllers, and services
- Integration with Kubernetes and Docker for backend container technology
- Integration with Keystone for multi-tenant security
- Integration with Neutron for Kubernetes multi-tenancy network security
This package contains the conductor server.
There are three methods to install magnum-conductor on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install magnum-conductor Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install magnum-conductor using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install magnum-conductorInstall magnum-conductor Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install magnum-conductor using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install magnum-conductorInstall magnum-conductor Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install magnum-conductor using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the magnum-conductor package we can use the following command:

To remove magnum-conductor configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge magnum-conductorRemove magnum-conductor configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove magnum-conductor configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
