How To Install m4api on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install m4api on Kali Linux.
What is m4api
m4api is:
The m4api is a tool for monitoring and configuring Mini-Box M4-ATX power supplies.
This package provides the m4ctl utility.
There are three methods to install m4api on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install m4api Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install m4api using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install m4apiInstall m4api Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install m4api using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install m4apiInstall m4api Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install m4api using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install m4apiHow To Uninstall m4api on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the m4api package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove m4apiUninstall m4api And Its Dependencies
To uninstall m4api and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove m4apiRemove m4api Configurations and Data
To remove m4api configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge m4apiRemove m4api configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove m4api configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge m4apiDependencies
