How To Install lz4 on Kali Linux

What is lz4
lz4 is:
LZ4 is a very fast lossless compression algorithm, providing compression speed at 400 MB/s per core, scalable with multi-cores CPU. It also features an extremely fast decoder, with speed in multiple GB/s per core, typically reaching RAM speed limits on multi-core systems.
This package contains files that is tool using liblz4.
There are three methods to install lz4 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lz4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lz4 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install lz4Install lz4 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lz4 using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the lz4 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove lz4Uninstall lz4 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall lz4 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove lz4Remove lz4 Configurations and Data
To remove lz4 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge lz4Remove lz4 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove lz4 configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
