How To Install lx-gdb on Debian 12

What is lx-gdb
lx-gdb is:
gdbload/gdbdump converts any standard HP/LX database to and from CSV (Comma-Separated-Values) format. Many formatting options are available. World-Time and Appointment databases as well as application specific fields are not supported.
The HP 100LX was introduced in 1993.
There are three methods to install lx-gdb
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install lx-gdb Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install lx-gdb
using apt-get

After updating apt database, We can install lx-gdb

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install lx-gdb
using aptitude

sudo aptitude -y install lx-gdb
How To Uninstall lx-gdb on Debian 12
To uninstall only the lx-gdb
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove lx-gdb
Uninstall lx-gdb And Its Dependencies
To uninstall lx-gdb
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove lx-gdb
Remove lx-gdb Configurations and Data
To remove lx-gdb
configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge lx-gdb
