How To Install lua-posix on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install lua-posix on Kali Linux.
What is lua-posix
lua-posix is:
This package contains the Lua posix library, that includes some posix functions like fork, chmod, wait, sleep and kill.
There are three methods to install lua-posix on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lua-posix Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lua-posix using apt-get by running the following command:

To uninstall only the lua-posix package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove lua-posixRemove lua-posix Configurations and Data
To remove lua-posix configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge lua-posixRemove lua-posix configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
