What is lua-luaossl

lua-luaossl is:

luaossl is a comprehensive binding to OpenSSL for Lua 5.1, 5.2, and later.

It includes support for certificate and key management, key generation, signature verification, and deep bindings to the distinguished name, alternative name, and X.509v3 extension interfaces.

It also binds OpenSSL’s bignum, message digest, HMAC, cipher, and CSPRNG interfaces.

There are three methods to install lua-luaossl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install lua-luaossl Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install lua-luaossl using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install lua-luaossl

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install lua-luaossl using apt by running the following command:
