How To Install lua-luaossl on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install lua-luaossl on Kali Linux.
What is lua-luaossl
lua-luaossl is:
luaossl is a comprehensive binding to OpenSSL for Lua 5.1, 5.2, and later.
It includes support for certificate and key management, key generation, signature verification, and deep bindings to the distinguished name, alternative name, and X.509v3 extension interfaces.
It also binds OpenSSL’s bignum, message digest, HMAC, cipher, and CSPRNG interfaces.
There are three methods to install lua-luaossl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lua-luaossl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lua-luaossl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install lua-luaosslInstall lua-luaossl Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lua-luaossl using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the lua-luaossl package we can use the following command:

To remove lua-luaossl configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
