What is lua-ldap
LuaLDAP is a simple interface from Lua to an LDAP client. It enables a Lua program to * Connect to an LDAP server; * Execute any operation (search, add, compare, delete, modify and rename); * Retrieve entries and references of the search result.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install lua-ldap
on CentOS 7. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install lua-ldap.
Install lua-ldap on CentOS 7 Using yum
Update yum database with yum

After updating yum database, We can install lua-ldap
using yum
