How To Install lsh-server on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install lsh-server on Kali Linux.
What is lsh-server
lsh-server is:
lsh is a GPLed implementation of the Secure SHell protocol version 2 (SSH2), a secure replacement for rlogin, rsh, and rcp.
This package contains the lsh server, lshd. This package is required to allow SSH2 logins to the local machine.
In some countries it may be illegal to use any encryption at all without a special permit.
There are three methods to install lsh-server on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lsh-server Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lsh-server using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install lsh-serverInstall lsh-server Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lsh-server using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install lsh-server using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install lsh-serverHow To Uninstall lsh-server on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the lsh-server package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove lsh-serverUninstall lsh-server And Its Dependencies
To uninstall lsh-server and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove lsh-serverRemove lsh-server Configurations and Data
To remove lsh-server configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge lsh-serverRemove lsh-server configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove lsh-server configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge lsh-serverDependencies
