What is lomiri-tests
lomiri-tests is:
Lomiri is an operating environment optimized for touch based human-machine interaction, but also supporting convergence (i.e. switching between tablet/phone and desktop mode). Lomiri is the user shell driving Ubuntu Touch based mobile devices.
This package provides fake implementations of some QML modules used by the Lomiri Shell (e.g. Lomiri.Application) so that you can run it in a sandboxed environment; it also provides scripts to run its test suite.
There are three methods to install lomiri-tests
on Debian 12. We can use apt-get

and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install lomiri-tests Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install lomiri-tests
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install lomiri-tests
Install lomiri-tests Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install lomiri-tests
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install lomiri-tests
Install lomiri-tests Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install lomiri-tests
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install lomiri-tests
How To Uninstall lomiri-tests on Debian 12
To uninstall only the lomiri-tests
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove lomiri-tests
Uninstall lomiri-tests And Its Dependencies
To uninstall lomiri-tests
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove lomiri-tests
