LogService is a system that simplifies this task. It acts as a common base between an application and it’s visualisation tools. It also provides a mechanism to classify and filter messages in a general way and other functions are needed to monitor distributed applications.

The service is named LogCentral.

There are three methods to install logcentral on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install logcentral Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install logcentral using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install logcentral

Install logcentral Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install logcentral using apt by running the following command:
