How To Install lives on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install lives on Kali Linux.

What is lives

lives is:

LiVES is a Video Editing system allowing both novice and advanced users to edit and create video straight away. It can also be used as a VJ tool, and can be scripted and controlled remotely.

There are three methods to install lives on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install lives Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install lives using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install lives
