Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache
After updating yum database, We can install lightdm-settings using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install lightdm-settings
Install lightdm-settings on CentOS 7 Using dnf
If you don’t have dnf installed you can install DNF on CentOS 7 first.
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache
After updating yum database, We can install lightdm-settings using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install lightdm-settings
How To Uninstall lightdm-settings on CentOS 7
To uninstall only the lightdm-settings package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove lightdm-settings
