How To Install libzmq-java on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libzmq-java on Kali Linux.
What is libzmq-java
libzmq-java is:
ZeroMQ is a library which extends the standard socket interfaces with features traditionally provided by specialised messaging middleware products.
ZeroMQ sockets provide an abstraction of asynchronous message queues, multiple messaging patterns, message filtering (subscriptions), seamless access to multiple transport protocols and more.
This package contains JNI-based Java bindings for ZeroMQ.
There are three methods to install libzmq-java on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libzmq-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libzmq-java using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libzmq-javaInstall libzmq-java Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libzmq-java using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libzmq-javaInstall libzmq-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libzmq-java using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libzmq-javaHow To Uninstall libzmq-java on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libzmq-java package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libzmq-javaUninstall libzmq-java And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libzmq-java and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libzmq-javaRemove libzmq-java Configurations and Data
To remove libzmq-java configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libzmq-javaRemove libzmq-java configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libzmq-java configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libzmq-javaDependencies
