What is libzerg0

libzerg0 is:

Zerg is a C library for lexing - lexically scanning - the output of NCBI BLAST programs.

Based on a GNU Flex-generated lexical scanner, it runs extremely fast, being especially useful for processing large volumes of data. Benchmark tests show that Zerg is over two orders of magnitude faster than some widely used BLAST parsers.

There are three methods to install libzerg0 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libzerg0 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libzerg0 using apt-get by running the following command:
