How To Install libzerg0-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libzerg0-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libzerg0-dev
libzerg0-dev is:
Zerg is a C library for lexing - lexically scanning - the output of NCBI BLAST programs.
Based on a GNU Flex-generated lexical scanner, it runs extremely fast, being especially useful for processing large volumes of data. Benchmark tests show that Zerg is over two orders of magnitude faster than some widely used BLAST parsers.

There are three methods to install libzerg0-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libzerg0-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libzerg0-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libzerg0-devInstall libzerg0-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libzerg0-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
