How To Install libykclient-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libykclient-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libykclient-dev
libykclient-dev is:
YubiKeys are USB tokens that act like keyboards and generate one-time passwords (OTPs). The tokens are produced and sold by Yubico.
This library is used for talking to an online validation server such as yubikey-server-c, yubikey-server-php or yubikey-server-j.
This package contains the necessary files for developers, and a command line tool “ykclient” to perform OTP queries from the shell.
There are three methods to install libykclient-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libykclient-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libykclient-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
