Xilinx Runtime library (XRT) is an open-source easy to use software stack that facilitates management and usage of field-programmable gate array (FPGA) / Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform (ACAP) devices. Users use familiar programming languages like C/C++ or Python to write host code which uses XRT to interact with FPGA/ACAP device. This package provides the runtime environment for xrt.
There are three methods to install libxrt1 on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libxrt1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libxrt1 using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall libxrt1 on Debian 12
To uninstall only the libxrt1 package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libxrt1

To uninstall libxrt1 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libxrt1
Remove libxrt1 Configurations and Data
To remove libxrt1 configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libxrt1
