How To Install libxres1 on Ubuntu 18.04

libXRes provides an X Window System client interface to the Resource extension to the X protocol.
The Resource extension allows for X clients to see and monitor the X resource usage of various clients (pixmaps, et al).

There are three methods to install libxres1 on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libxres1 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libxres1 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libxres1
Install libxres1 Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libxres1 using apt by running the following command:

Install libxres1 Using aptitude

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libxres1
Remove libxres1 Configurations and Data
To remove libxres1 configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libxres1
Remove libxres1 configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
