What is libxrender-dev
libxrender-dev is:
The X Rendering Extension (Render) introduces digital image composition as the foundation of a new rendering model within the X Window System. Rendering geometric figures is accomplished by client-side tessellation into either triangles or trapezoids. Text is drawn by loading glyphs into the server and rendering sets of them. The Xrender library exposes this extension to X clients.
This package provides a static library and C header files.

There are three methods to install libxrender-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libxrender-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxrender-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libxrender-devInstall libxrender-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxrender-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
