What is libxrandr-dev
libxrandr-dev is:
libXrandr provides an X Window System client interface to the RandR extension to the X protocol.
The RandR extension allows for run-time configuration of display attributes such as resolution, rotation, and reflection.
This package contains the development headers for the library found in libxrandr2. Non-developers likely have little use for this package.

There are three methods to install libxrandr-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libxrandr-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxrandr-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libxrandr-devInstall libxrandr-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxrandr-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libxrandr-devInstall libxrandr-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxrandr-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libxrandr-dev package we can use the following command:
