What is libxkbcommon-tools
libxkbcommon-tools is:
xkbcommon is a library to handle keyboard descriptions, including loading them from disk, parsing them and handling their state. It’s mainly meant for client toolkits, window systems, and other system applications; currently that includes Wayland, kmscon, GTK+, Clutter, and more.
This package contains the xkbcli tool to interact with XKB keymaps.

There are three methods to install libxkbcommon-tools on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libxkbcommon-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxkbcommon-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libxkbcommon-toolsInstall libxkbcommon-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
