How To Install libxdamage-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libxdamage-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libxdamage-dev
libxdamage-dev is:
libXdamage provides an X Window System client interface to the DAMAGE extension to the X protocol.
The Damage extension provides for notification of when on-screen regions have been ‘damaged’ (altered).
This package contains the development headers for the library found in libxdamage1. Non-developers likely have little use for this package.

There are three methods to install libxdamage-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libxdamage-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxdamage-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libxdamage-devInstall libxdamage-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libxdamage-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libxdamage-devInstall libxdamage-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
