How To Install libx86-dev on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libx86-dev
libx86-dev is:
A library to provide support for making real-mode calls x86 calls. On x86 hardware, vm86 mode is used. On other platforms, x86 emulation is provided.
This package contains the development files for libx86.
There are three methods to install libx86-dev on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libx86-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libx86-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libx86-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libx86-dev
How To Uninstall libx86-dev on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libx86-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libx86-dev
Uninstall libx86-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libx86-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libx86-dev
Remove libx86-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libx86-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libx86-dev
Remove libx86-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libx86-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
