How To Install libwps-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libwps-doc
libwps-doc is:
libwps is a library (for use by word processors, for example) for importing the Microsoft Works word processor file format. As of November 2006, the project is new, but it imports Works format versions 2, 3, 4, and 8 with some formatting. Support for Works formats version 2000 (aka 5) is coming soon.

There are three methods to install libwps-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libwps-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libwps-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libwps-doc

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libwps-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libwps-doc
Install libwps-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libwps-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libwps-doc
How To Uninstall libwps-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libwps-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libwps-doc

To uninstall libwps-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libwps-doc
Remove libwps-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libwps-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libwps-doc
Remove libwps-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
