How To Install libwayland-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libwayland-dev
on Kali Linux.
What is libwayland-dev
libwayland-dev is:
Wayland is a protocol for a compositor to talk to its clients as well as a C library implementation of that protocol. The compositor can be a standalone display server running on Linux kernel modesetting and evdev input devices, an X application, or a wayland client itself. The clients can be traditional applications, X servers (rootless or fullscreen) or other display servers.
This package contains the development headers for the Wayland libraries. Non-developers likely have little use for this package.
There are three methods to install libwayland-dev
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libwayland-dev
using apt-get

Update apt database with apt

After updating apt database, We can install libwayland-dev

Install libwayland-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libwayland-dev
using aptitude
