How To Install libvirt-bin on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libvirt-bin
libvirt-bin is:
Libvirt is a C toolkit to interact with the virtualization capabilities of recent versions of Linux (and other OSes). The library aims at providing a long term stable C API for different virtualization mechanisms. It currently supports QEMU, KVM, XEN, OpenVZ, LXC, and VirtualBox.
This is a transitional package. You can safely remove it.
There are three methods to install libvirt-bin
on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install libvirt-bin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libvirt-bin

sudo apt-get -y install libvirt-bin

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libvirt-bin
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libvirt-bin
Install libvirt-bin Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libvirt-bin
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libvirt-bin
How To Uninstall libvirt-bin on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libvirt-bin
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libvirt-bin
Uninstall libvirt-bin And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libvirt-bin
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libvirt-bin
Remove libvirt-bin Configurations and Data
To remove libvirt-bin
configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libvirt-bin
Remove libvirt-bin configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libvirt-bin

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libvirt-bin
