How To Install libvde0 on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install libvde0 on Kali Linux.

What is libvde0

libvde0 is:

VDE is a virtual switch that can connect multiple virtual machines together, both local and remote.

Components of the VDE architecture are VDE switches (virtual counterpart of ethernet switches) and VDE cables (virtual counterpart of a crossed-cable used to connect two switches).

This package contains a library to interact with vde_switch management console using pre-made unattended scripts.

There are three methods to install libvde0 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
