How To Install libustr-doc on Ubuntu 18.04

What is libustr-doc
libustr-doc is:
ustr (Micro string library) is a string API for C. It has tiny overhead over just plain strdup(), is much safer, is easier to use, is faster for many operations, can be used with read-only or automatically allocated data. You don’t even need to link to the library to use it (so there are no dependencies).
This package provides HTML documentation and examples.
There are three methods to install libustr-doc on Ubuntu 18.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libustr-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libustr-doc using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libustr-doc
Install libustr-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libustr-doc using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libustr-doc
Install libustr-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libustr-doc using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libustr-doc
How To Uninstall libustr-doc on Ubuntu 18.04
To uninstall only the libustr-doc package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libustr-doc
Uninstall libustr-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libustr-doc and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 18.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libustr-doc
Remove libustr-doc Configurations and Data
To remove libustr-doc configuration and data from Ubuntu 18.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libustr-doc
Remove libustr-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libustr-doc configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libustr-doc
