How To Install libunarr-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libunarr-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libunarr-dev
libunarr-dev is:
unarr originated as a port of the RAR extraction features from The Unarchiver project required for extracting images from comic book archives (.cbr). It was written as an alternative to libarchive which didn’t have support for parsing filters or solid compression at the time.
This package contains development tools: headers and unversioned libraries.
There are three methods to install libunarr-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libunarr-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libunarr-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libunarr-devInstall libunarr-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libunarr-dev using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libunarr-dev package we can use the following command:
