How To Install libtainting-perl on Kali Linux

Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install libtainting-perl on Kali Linux.

What is libtainting-perl

libtainting-perl is:

tainting provides a simpler interface to Taint::Runtime. The idea is so that there is no functions or variables to import. Just use or no, like warnings or strict. Tainting of %ENV will be done one time automatically the first time this module is used.

Please (PLEASE) read Taint::Runtime’s documentation first about the pro’s and con’s of enabling/disabling tainting at runtime. Use -T if you can.

There are three methods to install libtainting-perl on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libtainting-perl Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libtainting-perl using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install libtainting-perl

Install libtainting-perl Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install libtainting-perl using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install libtainting-perl

Install libtainting-perl Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install libtainting-perl using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install libtainting-perl

How To Uninstall libtainting-perl on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the libtainting-perl package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libtainting-perl

Uninstall libtainting-perl And Its Dependencies

To uninstall libtainting-perl and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libtainting-perl

Remove libtainting-perl Configurations and Data

To remove libtainting-perl configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libtainting-perl

Remove libtainting-perl configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove libtainting-perl configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
