What is libswagger-core-java
libswagger-core-java is:
swagger-core is an open source Java implementation of Swagger/OpenAPI, providing:
swagger-models: OpenAPI specification Java implementation
swagger-core: resolves (annotated) java POJOs into OpenAPI schemas, handles serialization/deserialization and provides an integration mechanism.
swagger-jaxrs2: resolves JAX-RS (annotated) resources into an OpenAPI definition, and provides an integration mechanism.
swagger-annotations: a set of annotations to declare and manipultate output generated by swagger-core, swagger-jaxrs2 and/or other projects.
swagger-maven-plugin: provides a maven plugin to resolve an OpenAPI definition at build time (using swagger-jaxrs2).
swagger-gradle-plugin: provides a gradle plugin to resolve an OpenAPI definition at build time (using swagger-jaxrs2).
There are three methods to install libswagger-core-java
on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude

After updating apt database, We can install libswagger-core-java

Install libswagger-core-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libswagger-core-java
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libswagger-core-java
How To Uninstall libswagger-core-java on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libswagger-core-java
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libswagger-core-java

and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libswagger-core-java
