How To Install libssh-dev on Kali Linux

What is libssh-dev
libssh-dev is:
The ssh library was designed to be used by programmers needing a working SSH implementation by the mean of a library. The complete control of the client is made by the programmer. With libssh, you can remotely execute programs, transfer files, use a secure and transparent tunnel for your remote programs. With its SFTP implementation, you can play with remote files easily.
This package contains development files to build the OpenSSL flavor.
There are three methods to install libssh-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libssh-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libssh-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libssh-devInstall libssh-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libssh-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libssh-devInstall libssh-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libssh-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libssh-devHow To Uninstall libssh-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the libssh-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libssh-devUninstall libssh-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libssh-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libssh-devRemove libssh-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libssh-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libssh-devRemove libssh-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libssh-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
