How To Install libsopt-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libsopt-dev on Kali Linux.
What is libsopt-dev
libsopt-dev is:
SOPT is a C package to perform Sparse OPTimisation. It solves a variety of sparse regularisation problems, including the SARA algorithm.
SOPT is largely provided to support the PURIFY package, a companion open-source code to perform radio interferometric imaging, also written by the authors of SOPT.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install libsopt-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsopt-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsopt-dev using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
