How To Install libsnacc-dev on Ubuntu 22.04
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libsnacc-dev on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is libsnacc-dev
libsnacc-dev is:
Snacc is short for “Sample Neufeld ASN.1 to C Compiler” and ASN.1 stands for Abstract Syntax Notation One (ITU-T X.208/ISO 8824). Snacc supports a subset of ASN.1 1988. If you need features of ASN.1 1992 or later, snacc is not for you.
This package contains the static libraries and C/C++ header files for snacc development.
There are three methods to install libsnacc-dev on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsnacc-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libsnacc-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libsnacc-dev
How To Uninstall libsnacc-dev on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libsnacc-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libsnacc-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libsnacc-dev

To remove libsnacc-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libsnacc-dev

We can use the following command to remove libsnacc-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
