How To Install libsmdev-utils on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libsmdev-utils on Kali Linux.
What is libsmdev-utils
libsmdev-utils is:
libsmdev is a library to access to storage media devices.
This package contains smdevinfo, a tool to determine information about storage media devices.
There are three methods to install libsmdev-utils on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsmdev-utils Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsmdev-utils using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libsmdev-utilsInstall libsmdev-utils Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libsmdev-utils using apt by running the following command:
