How To Install libsimdjson-dev on Ubuntu 20.04

What is libsimdjson-dev
libsimdjson-dev is:
JSON documents are everywhere on the Internet. Servers spend a lot of time parsing these documents. simdjson aims to accelerate the parsing of JSON per se using commonly available SIMD instructions as much as possible while doing full validation (including character encoding).
It requires a processor with:
- AVX2 (i.e., Intel processors starting with the Haswell microarchitecture released 2013 and AMD processors starting with the Zen microarchitecture released 2017)
- or SSE 4.2 and CLMUL (i.e., Intel processors going back to Westmere released in 2010 or AMD processors starting with the Jaguar used in the PS4 and XBox One)
- or a 64-bit ARM processor (ARMv8-A): this covers a wide range of mobile processors, including all Apple processors currently available for sale, going back as far back as the iPhone 5s (2013).
This package ships development files.
There are three methods to install libsimdjson-dev on Ubuntu 20.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libsimdjson-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libsimdjson-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libsimdjson-dev
How To Uninstall libsimdjson-dev on Ubuntu 20.04
To uninstall only the libsimdjson-dev package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libsimdjson-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 20.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libsimdjson-dev
Remove libsimdjson-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libsimdjson-dev configuration and data from Ubuntu 20.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libsimdjson-dev
Remove libsimdjson-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libsimdjson-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge libsimdjson-dev
