What is libsidutils-dev

libsidutils-dev is:

This library contains various things deemed useful to all SID players (Emulations of the C64’s SID chip (MOS 6581) and CPU (6510)), and currently every player seems to be re-inventing. It is used by several “player” applications, e.g. sidplay.

There are three methods to install libsidutils-dev on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install libsidutils-dev Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install libsidutils-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
